Annual Retreat
Held
at the Good Hope Lutheran Church, Buchanan city Grand Bassa County.
Under
The Theme: Unity in Diversity Text: 1 Corinthians 12:12
Resolution 2019/2020.
At the end of the St. Matthew Lutheran Youth
Fellowship 20th annual retreat, the body resolved the following counts that
will be used as a working tool for the fellowship in the year to come.
1. That the
fellowship’s financial report be given to congregations presidents during the last exco meeting before retreat for
proper perusal. *
2. That an
independent audit committee from the congregations/preaching point be setup to
conduct a general audit of the current leadership before the end of the term.
3. That the
parish conduct a workshop for congregations’ leadership to learn a proper
reporting format. (Administrative Count)
4. That the
financial report and the 2018 retreat minutes be presented at the first exco
meeting along with the fine that was agreed upon by the body.
5. That each
congregation be represented by two persons during the St. Matthew presidential
and treasure elections to form part of the voting process. *
6. That the
fellowship undertakes a project to raise funds to enable a smooth operation.
7. That the
planning committee chair plan the retreat souvenir, present it to the last exco
meeting before retreat. *
8. That a
reconciliation committee be setup by the president to make unity a reality in
our fellowship.
Note: Resolutions with asterisk (*) were passed as
POLICIES for the fellowship to work with in the future.
